We had the opportunity to meet Marie and her precious kids in 2014 on our first trip to Haiti. From the very first time we met them, it was so evident that these wonderful people from a small island in the Caribbean Sea had captured our hearts. Marie is one of our biggest heroes. She treats each and every child that is in her care as her own and loves them fiercely. As we continued to spend time with Marie and her amazing children, we wanted to fully invest in the work she was doing and the new orphanage being built. Heart of Purpose 501(c)(3) officially launched in January 2019 to provide financial and organizational support to Marie’s Home. In the summer of 2019, Marie was able to move her kids out of Port-au-Prince (Haiti’s capital) to the new facility in the countryside. We are looking forward to how the Lord will continue to grow Marie’s home and bring more precious children into her care.
